Emma Gray
Emma Gray is a multidisciplinary force in contemporary art, known for her ability to blend curatorial insight, writing, and spiritual practice. She founded the gallery Five Car Garage in 2013, an intimate and unconventional art space that has received wide recognition in the international press. Her career includes roles as editor at ArtReview, contributor to Artnet, and trusted art advisor.
Alongside her work in the art world, Emma has spent years exploring the healing arts. Since the age of 21, she has trained with four master healers and later established the Energetic Residency, a meditation and healing studio located above her gallery.
She studied at University College London and later returned to hands-on creative work at Heatherley School of Fine Art in London, where she trained in portraiture. For more than a decade, Emma has quietly nurtured a personal painting practice, now stepping forward with renewed vision and focus.
